Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Forklift Engineer in Devizes, Wiltshire, on behalf of a client. The role covers commissioning, maintenance and servicing of forklift trucks and related plant machinery, with a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

You should have an NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and good communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers and the Service Team. Ex ex-military encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Knowledge of forklift trucks.
• Analytical with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Commission, maintenance and servicing of equipment and plant machinery.
• Repair, maintain and service forklift trucks.
• Repair or replace faulty parts.
• Report to Service Co-ordinator for scheduled work.
• Maintain relationships with customers and health & safety compliance.
