Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service forklift trucks across the Croydon/Greater London area from a home base. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel, petrol, LPG, and electric trucks while maintaining high workmanship standards.

The role offers manufacturer-led training, clear progression routes to senior roles, and substantial overtime with excellent earning potential in a growing national business.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge
Experience working on engines and mobile machinery
Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Repairing engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
Recording all work completed via engineer reports
Managing workload efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
