Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a diligent service technician to perform on-site service and repairs for forklift fleets. You will work to planned schedules, ensuring safety and accuracy in documentation, with responsibility for company tooling and a company van.

The role requires UK driving licence, strong fault-finding skills, and a commitment to ongoing training. Working Monday to Friday with a company pension and holiday entitlement, you will join a team that values precision and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in fault finding and repair.
• Education with ability to achieve GCSE English and maths (Grade C).
• Experience of Health & Safety requirements in workshop practice.
• Commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
• Excellent organisational skills, resourceful and solution-driven.
• High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills - oral and written.
• Consultation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional manner.
• Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at client premises.
• Monitor site stock and count to ensure sufficient for day-to-day maintenance.
• Complete job sheets, timesheets and purchase requisitions within required timescales.
• Take responsibility for all equipment and tooling (including van/laptop) and ensure safe condition.
• Work to strict schedules and deadlines.
