Job summary

Impression Recruitment is hiring a Forklift Driver in Ripon to join a busy warehouse team. You will load/unload trailers, pick and pack orders with precision, and maintain stock locations using a warehouse system.

The role is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with a 3:00 pm finish on Fridays, paying £13.40 per hour. They seek reliable, detail-oriented candidates with a valid forklift licence and experience in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse role.
• Valid forklift licence and ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory using warehouse systems to track stock levels and locations.
• Load and unload trailers and move stock within the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders with high accuracy using handheld devices.
• Stock shelves and organise storage areas to maximise space.
• Carry out regular stock checks to maintain accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support service.
• Develop and maintain understanding of products.
