Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers in Kegworth, Derby, for a full-time role at a busy distribution centre. You will load and unload vehicles, move stock on/off racking, and maintain a strong health and safety focus during operations.

Applicants must hold a Counterbalance license (Teletruck accepted) with at least 1 year driving experience. The position offers shift patterns with a premium after 6pm and overtime opportunities.

Earn £517.50 - £573 per week

Great opportunity to work as a Counterbalance Driver for our world renowned logistics client in a busy distribution centre who are responsible for dispatching construction equipment.

Staffline is recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers in Kegworth, Derby.

Immediate start available (subject to successful assessment).

The rate of pay is £13.80 - £23.46 per hour.

• £13.80 hours worked between 06:00 - 18:00
• £16.56 hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

Overtime paid after 37.5 hours worked:

• £20.70 hours worked between 06:00 - 18:00
• £23.46 hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

This is a full-time role working on fixed morning or afternoon shifts, the hours of work are:

Monday to Friday:

• Earlies 6am - 2pm
• Lates 2pm - 10pm

Shift premium after 6pm

Your Time at Work

As a FLT Counterbalance Driver your duties include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock around the warehouse (on and off of racking)
• Working with a health & safety focus at all times
• Other general warehouse roles may include receiving and scanning stock

This role will require some occasional heavy lifting. The role is split between manual work and driving - please note you will not be on the Counterbalance all the time.

Our perfect worker will show good attention to detail and be able to follow all Health and Safety rules.

Applicants must hold a Counterbalance license, we will also accept any Teletruck licenses!

Experience in a similar role is essential - we require at least 1 year actively driving as a Counterbalance Driver, Counterbalance FLT operative certificates should be from a recognised training provider (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, TOPS, NPORS).

Opportunities to cross train onto Teletruck and other machinery.
