Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment in Norwich is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver (Double Handler) to join a well-established manufacturing company on a temporary ongoing basis. This role requires safe operation of a Double Handler forklift and active participation in loading, unloading and stock control.

You will work rotating shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, full-time hours, with on-site parking. A valid Counterbalance licence and experience with ERP systems are essential to ensure

Qualifications

• Valid in-date Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Experience operating a Double Handler forklift.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment.
• Good communication and strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Double Handler forklift in warehouse and yard.
• Load and unload trailers with palletised goods.
• Move and store products in racking.
• Use scanners and ERP system to record stock movements.
• Perform routine quality and stock checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Double Handler forklift within the warehouse and yard.
• Loading and unloading trailers containing palletised goods.
• Moving and storing products safely and efficiently within racking.
• Using scanners and an ERP system to record stock movements.
• Carrying out routine quality and stock checks.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all company Health & Safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Double Handler forklift - essential.
• Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment.
• Good communication skills and a strong focus on safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
