Workchain is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Cheltenham for a permanent, day shift role. The position involves supporting daily haulage and warehouse operations with a minimum of eight hours paid and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include operating a counterbalance forklift, loading/unloading vehicles, checking loads, and assisting with general warehouse tasks while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Formación

• Current counterbalance forklift qualification.
• Previous forklift, warehouse, yard or haulage experience.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to move and handle goods safely.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a practical approach to daily tasks.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move goods around the site.
• Check loads for condition, accuracy and safe positioning.
• Support the loading team with general warehouse and yard duties.
• Follow site procedures, health and safety requirements and manual-handling guidance.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working area.
• Work cooperatively with drivers, warehouse colleagues and supervisors.
