Job summary

Job&Talent is recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Dunstable. The role involves operating forklifts to move goods, loading/unloading, and supporting picking and packing in a busy warehouse.

Candidates should have 6–12 months forklift driving experience, good English, and be able to work 5 out of 7 shifts. Additional licences are desirable and there is potential for contract extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months forklift driving experience.
• Loading and unloading goods, pallet handling and stacking.
• Working in busy warehouse environments, safe load handling, and pedestrian safety.
• Hazards identification, performing pre-use checks, and operating machinery for extended periods.
• Handling manual tasks when required and experience in reach forklifts.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including pedestrian safety and hazard identification, to maintain a secure working environment.
• Support other warehouse operations as needed, including picking and packing.

As a Forklift Driver you will need to have

• Minimum 6-12 months forklift driving experience

• Ability to meet or exceed KPIs, work well under pressure, and willingness to support picking and other departments
