Job summary

Stafforce is recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver for a leading warehouse operation in Workington. The role offers full-time hours, a rotating 4 days on/4 days off pattern, and 12-hour shifts from 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am with full induction provided.

You will handle counterbalance and reach trucks, load/unload, move stock, and ensure safety procedures are followed. A valid licence and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance licence.
• Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift trucks safely.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock within the warehouse.
• Carry out stock replenishment and routine vehicle checks.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support general warehouse activities as required.

Salary: GBP13.82 - GBP13.82 per hour

Stafforce is currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for a leading warehouse and distribution operation based in Workington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established site offering consistent, full-time hours and a competitive shift pattern.

Shift Pattern

4 Days On, 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On. Rotating pattern. 12-hour shifts- 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock within the warehouse
• Carrying out stock replenishment duties
• Completing routine vehicle checks
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting general warehouse activities when required
