Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting a Forklift Driver in Ledbury for a busy warehouse. Immediate start available on a full-time temporary basis (6-8 weeks) with a Counterbalance or Reach forklift certificate required. Shift is Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with an hourly rate of £13.00–£13.50.

Role involves receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, stock checks and maintaining safety and organisation across the warehouse. Temporary assignment with support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance or Reach forklift certificate (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Your Duties

• Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely and efficiently
• Receiving, checking and storing supplier deliveries
• Picking, packing and loading customer orders for dispatch
• Supporting stock control activities, including stock counts and inventory checks
• Replenishing production areas and maximising warehouse space
• Ensuring stock is clearly identified and stored correctly
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and yard
• Complying with all Health & Safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance or Reach Forklift certificate (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP software or barcode scanners advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively within a team
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
