Job summary

NuStaff Recruitment is assisting Tredegar-based manufacturing site in sourcing an experienced Forklift Driver for immediate starts. The role involves rotating 6:00AM-2:00PM and 2:00PM-10:00PM shifts, with about 80-90% forklift work and occasional production support.

Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance licence, have previous manufacturing/warehouse FLT experience, and demonstrate strong health and safety awareness with reliable attendance. Tredegar commute required.

Qualifications

• Valid in-date Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

• Store finished goods in the correct warehouse locations.
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks.

Job description

Role: Forklift Driver

Location: Tredegar

Hours: Rotating weekly 2-shift pattern: 6:00AM - 2:00PM (Mornings) and 2:00PM - 10:00PM (Afternoons)

Pay: £13.71 per hour

Immediate start available. We're recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business in Tredegar that makes pipe insulation products. This is ongoing work in a fast-paced production environment, with around 80-90% of your time spent on the forklift and the odd bit of support for the production team when needed.

The Role

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Load and unload deliveries
• Move stock and raw materials around the site and supply the production lines
• Store finished goods in the right warehouse locations
• Carry out daily FLT safety checks
• Keep your area clean and safe and follow all health and safety procedures

The Requirements

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Happy to work rotating shifts and support the wider team
• Able to commute reliably to Tredegar
