Job summary

Impact Recruitment Services is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Kettering to recruit a Forklift Driver on a permanent basis. You will support the day-to-day yard and workshop operations, moving materials safely and keeping the area tidy, with responsibilities for loading/unloading and assisting production teams.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with paid overtime at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• MUST hold an in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• MUST have a UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work in a busy, hands-on environment with urgency.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift across the yard and workshop.
• Load and unload materials and products.
• Move materials and stock around the site as required.
• Support the production and workshop teams with the movement of materials.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised yard.
• Work with urgency to ensure materials are available when required.
• Carry out tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all relevant Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Identify and report any issues relating to materials, equipment or the working environment.
• Support the wider team with general yard and warehouse duties when required.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the yard and workshop.
