Job description

Our client is looking for a Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role involves working with a large-scale engineering company across various sectors including power plants, renewable energy, rail, steelwork, and more. The suitable candidate must have knowledge of all aspects of forklift driving. Responsibilities include unloading, loading, and distributing materials around the site. The candidate must also ensure health and safety standards are maintained.

Rate of Pay: £18 per hour, with overtime at time and a half after 39 hours. PAYE salary review after 13 weeks (probationary period).

All candidates must:

• Hold a valid forklift license (counterbalance and multi-directional experience). The company can provide training; some experience is preferred.
• Be hardworking, reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possess a full UK driving license or live locally.
