CHEP UK Ltd. in Manchester is seeking a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a fast-paced yard environment at Trafford Park (M17). You will operate 4.5-ton triple fork FLTs, supporting production and haulier operations during a night shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6am).

The role offers a competitive salary of £38,070.49 per year including shift allowance, 25 days holiday, pension, and employee benefits. External licences are preferred; in-house licences may be considered.

Formación

• Experience as Counterbalance FLT Driver in a busy yard environment.
• External FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR) is ideal – in-house licences considered.
• Experience with double/triple fork FLTs is a big advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate FLT trucks to support production and haulage operations.
• Direct visiting vehicles during loading and unloading.
• Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs.
• Assist with manual inspection and repair of yard equipment.
• Report any damage or operational issues promptly.
