Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join our client based in Loughborough. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of condiments and seasonings, supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver looking for ongoing work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will hold a valid, in-date and accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and be comfortable working within a production and warehouse setting.

Your Role

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Transporting raw materials, ingredients and finished products throughout the site.
• Supplying production lines with materials as required.
• Moving palletised stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Carrying out stock transfers between production and storage areas.
• Conducting daily pre-use forklift checks and reporting defects.
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Checking pallet quality, product labels, batch codes and manufacturing dates.
• Supporting stock counts and inventory checks when required.Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and quality procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Valid, in-date and accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift driving experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to check stock accurately.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of food manufacturing environments desirable.

Pay & Shifts

• £14.21 per hour
• Monday – Friday
• 14:30 – 22:30
