Job summary

NuStaff Recruitment Ltd in Caerphilly is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a growing recycling facility. This is a full-time, forklift-only role moving pallets between units and loading and unloading trucks, with an immediate start available.

You must hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence and be reliable, with a safety-conscious approach. Temporary to ongoing contract with hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime paid at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Previous forklift experience in an industrial or warehouse environment.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work independently.
• Positive, proactive attitude and good team player.
• Able to commute reliably to Caerphilly.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move pallets and materials between units, yard areas and storage locations.
• Load and unload lorries and containers.
• Carry out pre-use safety checks and report defects straight away.
• Keep accurate records of stock movement when required.
• Support the wider warehouse and yard operations and follow all site health and safety regulations.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay: £13.46 per hour, overtime paid at enhanced rates (1.5x / 2x)
