First Call Contract Services Limited in Acton is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with a respected logistics business. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, loading/unloading, and pallet handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid Counterbalance forklift licence, at least 1 year of forklift driving, good English, and strong health and safety awareness.

Formación

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• At least 1 year’s recent forklift operating experience.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• A strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Amazon, DHL, DPD, Parcelforce or similar logistics companies is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

First Call Contract Services are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Operators to join a nationally recognised logistics business and industry leader based in Acton.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Operator, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operation.

• Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and positioning pallets around the site
• Supporting general warehouse and logistics activities
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Working effectively as part of a busy and professional team

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• At least 1 year’s recent forklift operating experience
• Good spoken and written English
• Basic computer literacy
• A strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety
• A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Previous experience with Amazon, DHL, DPD, Parcelforce or similar logistics and distribution companies would be highly advantageous.
