CDI - Russell Taylor is seeking a skilled FLT Counterbalance operative to join our warehouse team in Runcorn. The successful candidate will safely operate counterbalance forklifts, move materials, and support goods management to keep logistics moving. You will work 07:00-19:00 on a 4-on-4-off rota, with training Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00.

Pay is £13.82 per hour. A valid forklift licence and warehouse experience are essential; desirable experience in shipping/receiving and using warehouse

Competenze

• Valid in-date forklift licence (counterbalance) required.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of materials handling and safety protocols.
• Able to perform basic maths for counts and measurements.
• Able to lift heavy loads during shift.
• Experience in shipping/receiving desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping.

• Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move materials.
• Assist shipping and receiving, check deliveries, prepare items for dispatch.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance checks on equipment.
• Stack and store materials to optimise space.
• Support stock picking, packing, and orders for shipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards.
• Assist in general warehouse duties to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
