Job summary

GI Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics company based in Lichfield. We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team on an ongoing basis.

You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload vehicles, move palletised goods in the warehouse, assist with picking and put-away, and follow all site health and safety procedures. The role offers regular Monday-Friday shifts, 8am-4pm, with weekly pay and potential for

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in house not accepted).
• Minimum 12 months recent experience operating a counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Good understanding of safe working practices and warehousing processes.

GI Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics company based in the WS14. We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team on an ongoing basis.

The Role

Working as part of the warehouse and logistics operation, you will be responsible for:

• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving, stacking and relocating palletised goods in the warehouse
• Assisting with picking and put-away of stock
• Following all site health & safety and warehouse procedures
• Working as part of the team to meet daily targets and deadlines

Hours & Pay

• Hours: 8am-4pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Pay: £13.50 per hour
• Type: Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in house not accepted)

• Reliable, punctual and able to work the full afternoon/evening shift pattern
