Job summary

MH Recruitment in the UK is seeking experienced Forklift / Counterbalance Drivers for a fast-paced warehouse operation in Braintree. You will load, unload and move stock to meet tight dispatch deadlines while adhering to health and safety standards. Shifts include day and night patterns (4 on/4 off) with £13.00 per hour.

A valid FLT license is required; B1 welcomed with in-house training to upgrade to B2. Immediate start available for reliable, punctual applicants.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT License.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

About the Role

MH Recruitment is currently recruiting dedicated and reliable Forklift / Counterbalance Drivers to join a fast-paced warehouse operation based in Braintree. You will be working on behalf of a leading international air cargo logistics provider, supporting the movement and handling of parcels and freight. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for steady, long-term work with clear shift options.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating counterbalance forklift trucks within a busy warehouse environment
• Loading and unloading air freight, parcels, and palletised goods
• Moving stock efficiently across the warehouse to meet tight dispatch deadlines
• Adhering to strict site health and safety standards at all times
• Performing basic manual handling duties when required

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 07:00 to 19:00 (4-on, 4-off)
• Night Shift: 19:00 to 07:00 (4-on, 4-off)
• Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour across all shift patterns

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT License
• Candidates holding a B1 FLT license are welcome – full in-house training to upgrade to a B2 license will be provided
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (air freight/cargo experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and standard safety protocols
• Punctual, reliable, and available for immediate start
