Job summary

CHEP UK Ltd. in South Ockendon, Essex, is seeking a hands-on Forklift Driver to safely operate 4.5 Ton triple fork FLTs, load and unload pallets, and manage yard movements. You will work in a busy production environment, coordinating with hauliers and ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Experience with FLTs, a valid RTITB/ITSSAR license (or in-house license with external-licensing plans) is preferred. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and on-time pallet handling for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 4.5 ton triple fork FLTs preferred; double/triple fork experience helpful.
• External FLT license (RTITB/ITSSAR) preferred, or in-house license with plan to obtain external license.
• Experience in a busy yard loading/unloading HGVs and moving pallets.

Responsibilities

• Safely direct visiting vehicles for loading and offloading goods.
• Maintain smooth activity flow on Production Lines to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Assist in inspection/repair of equipment stocks in yards and report issues.
• Ensure trucks and equipment are well maintained and stock rotated correctly.
