OnetoOne Personnel are recruiting a Warehouse and Forklift Operative for a Basildon site. The role involves operating a forklift, receiving, storing and dispatching goods, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting general warehouse tasks. Salary £13.50 per hour, 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with full training.

The position offers a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway, free onsite parking, a pension scheme, and 28 days of holiday. A positive, team-focused environment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Forklift license (Counterbalance or Bendi) and experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to lift heavy objects in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to receive, store, and move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and condition of received goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems or manual tracking.
• Assist with order picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised at all times.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular stocktaking activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assisting in the picking of jobs; loading vans; forklift operation as required.

Warehouse and Forklift Operative | Basildon | £13.50 p/h | Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30

One to One Personnel are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our client based in Basildon as a Warehouse and Forklift Operative. As a valuable member of the team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our logistics activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. You will also operate a forklift to move and stack materials, ensuring efficient and safe handling. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and organising the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to receive, store, and move goods within the warehouse


• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and condition of received goods


• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems or manual tracking


• Assist with order picking, packing, and dispatching of goods


• Keep the warehouse clean and organised at all times


• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor


• Participate in regular stocktaking activities to ensure inventory accuracy

Main duties

What you'll need

• Valid forklift license Counterbalance or Bendi and proven experience operating a forklift

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred


• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
