Job summary

Dunbia Group is hiring an FLT Driver to support efficient movement of goods within our UK meat processing facility. You will operate ride-on pallets and handle materials safely, contributing to smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Full Counterbalance Licence is required.
• Positive and proactive attitude is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good communication skills are important.
• Numeracy and literacy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport deliveries from the vehicle to the correct area of the factory safely.
• Assist with removal of waste product and classify correctly.
• Deliver empty pallets and stacks of trays to keep production flowing.
• Communicate with shift supervisor to maintain product flow.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across site.
• Report equipment defects to Line Manager promptly.

The key responsibilities

• Transport deliveries from the transport vehicle to the correct area of the factory in a safe and controlled manner
• Assist with the removal of waste product and dispose into the correct categories
• Deliver empty pallets and stacks of trays to allow production to flow
• Communicate effectively with shift supervisor to maintain the constant flow of product through the factory
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across site and monitor this
• Report any defects in equipment immediately to your Line Manager

The successful candidate will need -
