Job summary

EMBS Engineering is seeking a Press/Forging Operator in Leicester to join a precision engineering team on a permanent basis. The role offers double days (38 hours) or nights (35 hours) with a shift allowance and overtime premium rates.

DBS checks and UK residency are required; visa sponsorship is not available. You will operate a hot forging press, self-inspect parts, and read engineering drawings to ensure customer specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within a machining role.
• Able to set & operate machines.
• Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day.
• Knowledge of forging & press machines.
• Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot forging press machines to produce precision components.
• Self-inspect own parts to customer specifications using manual measuring tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Machining large batches of small to medium parts.

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Press / Forging Operator to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
