Job summary

James Grace Associates Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator for a stable, long-term role in a modern engineering workshop.

You will set, operate and adjust CNC press brakes (Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf), read drawings and ensure parts meet exact tolerances, with overtime opportunities and a supportive team.

Minimum two years’ experience is required and night shift hours are 4pm-2am, Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brake machines (Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar).
• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Carry out first-off inspections and maintain quality standards throughout production.
• Adjust tooling and machine settings to achieve precise folds and dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report faults.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Are you an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator looking for a stable, long-term role with a reputable engineering business in Leicestershire?

We're working with a well-established manufacturing company known for producing high-quality sheet metal and fabricated components for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth and investment in modern machinery, they're now looking to strengthen their team with a skilled and reliable Press Brake Setter Operator.

£14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience) minimum of 2 years of experience is required for this role.

The Role

As a Press Brake Setter Operator, you'll play a key role in the production of precision sheet metal components. You'll be responsible for setting, operating, and adjusting CNC press brake machines to ensure parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently to customer specifications.
