Job summary

Lift Feversham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Forest School-focused team on a fixed-term basis until August 2027. The role supports primary pupils, with flexibility for part-time job share arrangements and outdoor classroom delivery.

You will work with teachers to plan engaging lessons, support SEND students, and deliver hands-on outdoor learning that inspires curiosity in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
• UK right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Understand learning needs including SEND to support access to content.
• Help students develop independent learning.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons with teachers.
• Deliver targeted interventions with teachers.
• Build positive relationships and promote good behaviour.
• Support social and emotional development through outdoor learning.
• Plan and run Forest School sessions promoting outdoors, creativity and resilience.
• Provide safe environments with risk assessments and H&S compliance.
