Lift Feversham is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to support Forest School sessions and outdoor learning in all weathers. You will join a community-focused team with the option for job sharing between Forest School delivery and classroom support. The position is fixed-term until August 2027.

You will work with teachers to plan lessons, support SEND learners, and foster positive behaviours as children engage with outdoor activities, building curiosity and resilience.

Qualificações

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grades 4+.

Responsabilidades

• Develop an understanding of students' learning needs, including SEND, to support access to lesson content and learning objectives.
• Help students develop independent learning skills and manage their own learning.
• Work with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons and assess learning.
• Deliver targeted interventions in partnership with teachers.
• Promote positive behaviours and support wellbeing in line with school policy.
• Plan and deliver Forest School sessions that promote outdoor learning and resilience.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment for children to build confidence and teamwork.
