Bright Horizons Bishops Stortford Nursery and Preschool in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Forest School Leader to guide children in outdoor learning and forestry activities. You will deliver EYFS-aligned sessions in a purpose-built setting with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and child development.

The role requires Level 3 Forest School and an Early Years qualification, with 40-hour weeks, and a focus on inclusive, fun learning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Forest School qualification is required.
• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification is required.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework (Early Years Foundation Stage).
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Ability to develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging environment for children to learn forestry skills.
• Support the nursery team with EYFS curriculum and activities.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to help children meet milestones.
• Foster a love of learning and encourage self-expression in a supportive setting.
