Job summary

Bright Horizons Bury St Edmunds Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support development through engaging, child-centered activities. You will plan, create and reflect on activities tailored to each child, fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment in a Good Ofsted setting.

You will work with a team to implement EYFS principles, safeguard children, and partner with families while benefiting from on-site parking and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • DBS checks and safer recruitment awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for each child.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents/ carers to support development.
