Center Parcs Sherwood Forest is seeking a Forest Ranger to help keep our woodland safe, healthy and full of life. You’ll maintain footpaths, protect wildlife habitats and waterways, and operate specialist tools in all weather.

This role is based outdoors and requires a full-time contract with a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours every 4 weeks. £14.01 per hour with opportunity to grow through in-role training and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in horticulture or forestry or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable outdoors in all weathers.
• Knowledge of tools and safety procedures.
• Full driving licence held for at least 6 months.

Forest Ranger

As a Forest Ranger, you'll help keep our woodland safe, healthy and full of life - from maintaining footpaths to protecting wildlife habitats and waterways.

Your working hours

• Full time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• You may also be required to participate in the department's call-out rota as required

About you
