Qualifications

You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

You'll join as a Manager in the Legal & Risk team which is part of the firms Forensic Accounting team. In this role you will be expected to assist on a variety of investigative matters. These would include supporting the firm in its response to regulatory reviews and investigations conducted by regulatory bodies, or assisting in internal investigations.

You will also be expected to liaise with internal teams to investigation, perform document review and analysis, interrogate the firm’s policies, systems and controls, and produce written reports, correspondence, and memoranda.You'll also be responsible for some team supervision.

You'll be someone with:

An accounting qualification is essential (e.g., ACA or equivalent).

Strong auditing / accounting standards knowledge.

Strong MS Office skills particularly within Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience of managing others and working in a team, ensuring that junior team members are appropriately briefed and coached.

Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements from inception to completion.

Experience delivering high quality output whilst working to tight deadlines.
