Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Forensic team at Rampton Hospital. You will support patients with SLCN and dysphagia, delivering direct treatment and collaborating with the MDT to enable access to high-quality rehabilitation.

You will work under the Clinical Lead SLT and alongside SLT assistants and apprentices, contributing to a wide range of clinical settings and service developments within the Therapies

Qualifications

• Experience in managing SLCN in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and interpret assessments of SLCN and dysphagia.
• Provide direct treatment to improve communication skills and access to other therapies.
• Produce reports, care plans and easy read information for patients.
• Engage in joint goal setting with patients and the MDT.
• Support junior colleagues and provide second opinions.
• Maintain accurate records and caseload administration.
