Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Liaison and Diversion Practitioner (Band 6) for the Criminal Justice Team in Dartford. This 10-month secondment supports police stations, courts, and community pathways, with shifts spanning early and late hours.

You will provide specialist forensic mental health expertise, lead a clinical team, produce court reports, and help develop recovery pathways for vulnerable service users within the CJ system under the L&D service.

Qualifications

• Specialist experience in vulnerable groups.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in multiagency working.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist knowledge on forensic mental health within the criminal justice system, namely police stations and the courts, offering expert advice and consultation.
• Maintain clinical direction and leadership, coordinating a team to ensure high-quality care.
• Lead assessments, develop, implement and evaluate therapeutic care pathways.
• Produce court reports and support pathways of care across CJ facilities.
