Job summary

Dyfed Powys Police are seeking a CSI Technical Assistant Officer to join the Tri-Force Forensic Alliance – Crime Scene Investigation Department. The role involves supporting the CSI Technical Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to maintaining UKAS accreditation.

The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, day shifts, with hybrid/agile working discussed at interview. Benefits include welfare support, pension, and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• To support the CSI Technical Manager in ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
• To support the CSI Technical Manager in ensuring that technical activities are carried out in accordance with the Technical Procedures and Validation Requirements.
• All candidates are subject to vetting and medical checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical activities in accordance with Procedures and Validation Requirements.
• Support from our Health and Wellbeing Centre including Welfare Officers, Counselling, Physiotherapy.
