Job Description

We are working on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Groundworks Foreman for ongoing projects in the Exeter area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, motivated individual with a strong background in groundworks and site supervision to join a growing team on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors
• Ensure groundworks (foundations, drainage, services, kerbing, etc.) are delivered to high standards
• Manage daily site activities and keep works on schedule
• Ensure health & safety compliance on-site at all times
• Liaise with site management, engineers, and clients
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman / Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering
• SSSTS or SMSTS (required)
• CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Ability to lead by example and drive productivity on-site
