DGI Morgan Marine Ltd is seeking an experienced Foreman Boilermaker to join our team in Lyttelton, Canterbury. As the Foreman Boilermaker, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing our Boilermaking and Fabrication operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing*Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of boilermakers and welders*Ensuring all tasks are completed to company and industry standards*Providing technical guidance and support to the team*Developing and implementing efficient work processes and procedures*Monitoring and reporting on project progress and any issues that arise*Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery*Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

What we're looking for*Extensive experience as a Boilermaker, ideally from a supervisory or foreman role*Demonstrated expertise in welding, fabrication, with marine experience an advantage but due to the wide range of work undertaken strong consideration is given to wider proven abilities.*Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills*Excellent communication and leadership abilities*Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications*A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
