Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a Merchandiser with strong forecasting ability to work on a permanent basis in St Albans.

You will manage back orders, replenishment and stock allocation, monitor changes in demand and stock availability, and analyse sales trends to refine forecasts. Hybr id working is available after probation, and the role offers a £35,000 salary with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising with a focus on forecasting and stock control.
• Ability to analyse sales data and translate findings into allocation decisions.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage back orders, replenishment and stock allocation to meet demand.
• Monitor changes in sales demand, stock availability and logistics requirements.
• Analyse sales trends and refine forecasts based on commercial judgment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supplier pricing, promotions and product information.
• Ensure merchandising activities comply with company policies and standards.
• Act as primary contact for allocated suppliers including purchasing, delivery arrangements, and invoice queries.
