Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a Merchandiser in St Albans with strong forecasting abilities to manage back orders, replenishment and stock allocation for our client. The role focuses on ensuring stock is available in the correct locations to meet demand and requires proactive monitoring of sales demand and logistics.

You will analyse sales trends to refine forecasts and stay up to date with supplier pricing, promotions and product information.

Qualifications

• Strong forecasting ability to refine stock forecasts.
• Experience with back orders, replenishment and stock allocation.
• Ability to monitor demand, stock availability and logistics.
• Analytical skills to analyse sales trends and refine forecasts.
• Knowledge of supplier pricing, promotions and product information.
• Ensure merchandising activities comply with policies and procedures.
• Experience liaising with suppliers for purchasing, deliveries, invoices and returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage back orders, replenishment and stock allocation to meet demand.
• Ensure stock is available in correct locations.
• Monitor changes in sales demand, stock availability and logistics.
• Analyse sales trends and refine forecasts.
• Maintain knowledge of supplier pricing, promotions and product information.
• Ensure merchandising activities comply with policies and standards.
• Act as primary contact for allocated suppliers, handling purchasing, deliveries, invoices and returns.
