Job description

Temp to Perm – Foot Mobile Fabric Engineers (Start Date: 2nd January)

We are recruiting Foot Mobile Fabric Engineers to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a temp-to-perm basis, starting 2nd January. This role is based across Central London and offers long-term progression within a well-established building services team.

Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric maintenance across commercial sites. Typical duties will include basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, patch repairs, door adjustments, tiling, lock changes, replacing ceiling tiles, minor plastering, and general building fabric upkeep. You may also be required to complete general handyman tasks across multiple buildings throughout the day.

The role is foot-mobile, covering multiple commercial sites across Central London, so candidates must be comfortable travelling between buildings and working independently.

Candidates must hold relevant City & Guilds trade qualifications and be willing to complete a basic DBS check. Previous experience within facilities management or commercial building maintenance is essential, along with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate confidently with clients, contractors, and site teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stability, ongoing development, and consistent work within a reputable FM environment.
