Job summary

Catch 22 is recruiting a Foot Mobile Building Engineer to service a prestigious portfolio of corporate offices across Central London. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical building services, visiting two sites daily and using a Zone 1-4 travel pass for travel between locations.

Ideal candidates will have 18th Edition wiring knowledge, a recognised electrical qualification, and a proven track record in premium commercial environments.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
• Recognised electrical qualification.
• Experience within commercial building services maintenance.
• Previous experience working within prestigious corporate offices, financial institutions, blue-chip headquarters or other high-end commercial environments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Able to work on-call - 1 in 5, Friday-to-Friday rotation, with flexibility to respond and work weekends when required.
• Background check and credit check clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and building services systems.
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs and minor remedial works with minimal disruption to occupiers.
• Maintaining accurate compliance, maintenance and statutory records.
• Liaising with clients, building managers and FM teams to deliver an exceptional level of service.
• Supporting the safe, efficient and compliant operation of prestigious corporate workplaces.

Catch 22 are working with a leading Facilities Management provider to recruit a Foot Mobile Building Engineer supporting a portfolio of prestigious corporate office buildings across Central London.

This is an opportunity to work within some of London's most impressive workplace environments, including high-profile headquarters, financial institutions and premium office spaces. Due to the nature of the portfolio, we're particularly interested in engineers who have experience working within high-end corporate, blue-chip or prestigious commercial environments, where professionalism, presentation and customer service are key.

You'll typically attend two sites per day, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services systems, with all travel covered via a Zone 1-4 travel pass.

Key responsibilities include:

• Due to the nature of the client portfolio and the sensitive environments involved, the successful candidate will be required to pass comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a background check and credit check. Applicants should therefore be able to obtain security clearance and have a clean credit history.
