Pertemps is seeking a Food Waste Collector in Plymouth for a temporary assignment starting ASAP and running until December 2026. The role pays £13.26 per hour and involves outdoor, active work with a four-day working week.

The position requires loading/unloading waste bins, teamwork, and reliability, with early starts at 06:30 and site arrival before the crew departs. On-site parking is available, and attendance at a mandatory induction is required.

Assignment: Temporary position starting as soon as possible running until December 2026

Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour

Location: Plymouth, PL4

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30-16:15 (37 hours per week)

About the Role

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires good stamina and a positive, can-do attitude.

You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading waste bins, with flexibility to support other collections when needed. Expect plenty of fresh air and movement, the role regularly involves high step counts (30,000 +) and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
