Job summary

Cuisine Centre in Derby is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Packing & Picking) to support dispatch operations. You will pick materials and customer orders, pack to spec, and help maintain product traceability and quality in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role involves 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30, with flexibility and occasional overtime to meet operational needs. Safety and hygiene are priority as you contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible and reliable team player; able to work independently.
• Experience in food production, warehouse or dispatch is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials, ingredients and customer orders in line with dispatch plans.
• Pack finished products according to specifications and packing instructions.
• Support daily picking, packing and dispatch targets.
