Job summary

Blueleaf Limited in Crawley is seeking a passionate Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team. You will undertake a range of warehouse duties including picking, packing, labeling and loading of delivery vehicles to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

This permanent full-time role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 13:00 to 22:00. Immediate start available. You will be expected to promote our culture and values, work safely, and adapt to the needs of the depot.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience within a warehouse environment lifting heavy goods.
• Teamwork skills and ability to participate as a full team member.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety, manual handling and hazardous substances.
• Ideally hold a full driving licence as role could involve moving delivery vans.

Responsibilities

• Live and promote Blueleaf's Culture and Values.
• Handle Goods in, Picking, Packing, MHE driving & tipping and loading of vehicles.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched with paperwork.
• Liaise with Customer Service for timely information on consignments.
• Check returns from company vehicles.
• Produce delivery schedule for direct dispatch operations.
• Follow manual handling guidance and safety regulations.
• Operate safely and use the provided PPE.
• Replenish warehouse pick faces daily.
• Carry out stock counts as requested by shift manager.
• Cover delivery drivers' absence when needed.
