Job summary

Reepham High School and College is seeking a Food Technician to keep teaching kitchens and equipment at a professional standard. You will support lessons, demonstrations and science investigations with ingredient prep, stock control and practical setup.

You will ensure hygiene and safety, manage procurement, and provide technical guidance to students, aligning with CLEAPSS and FSA guidelines. There is also an opportunity to deliver 2.5 hours of KS5 enrichment at instructor rate.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting food technology lessons.
• Ability to assist with practical sessions and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for lessons and demonstrations.
• Manage stock, procurement, and inventory of ingredients.
• Ensure equipment is ready for demonstrations and student practicals.
• Provide technical guidance on cooking techniques and hygiene.
• Adhere to CLEAPSS and Food Standards Agency guidelines; support KS5 enrichment.
