Job summary

An independent school in Ipswich is seeking a part-time support staff member to assist in maintaining a safe and positive learning environment. The applicant is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times. Job Share, approx. 16 hours a week, Monday and Friday term time only.

Responsibilities
  • You will provide support and assistance to the classroom teacher during practical lessons.
  • You will assist with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, e.g. clubs, visits and extra-curricular activities organized by the department and attend relevant meetings as required.
  • You will work on your own initiative as well as as part of a team and be able to plan and prioritise your work effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous Workshop Food Skills/experience is desirable.
