This school is currently looking to recruit an experienced teacher to join their dynamic Design and Technology department starting this September. The school offers Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form education, providing ample opportunities for growth and development within the institution.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading a team of classroom support staff, students, and voluntary helpers during lessons and off-site visits.
2. Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential involvement at KS5.
3. Planning and delivering engaging practical lessons that promote healthy lifestyles, culinary skills, and food science.
4. Monitoring student progress and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
5. Contributing to curriculum development and department activities.
6. Promoting high standards of food hygiene, safety, and practical work in the classroom.
