Are you a qualified teacher with experience in Food Technology or a teacher interested in specializing in food technology? If so, this school is currently seeking an experienced teacher to join their vibrant Design and Technology department starting this September. The school offers primary, secondary, and sixth form education, providing ample opportunities for growth and development.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading a team of classroom support staff, students, and voluntary helpers during lessons and off-site visits.
2. Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential involvement in KS5.
3. Planning and delivering engaging practical lessons promoting healthy lifestyles, culinary skills, and food science.
4. Monitoring student progress and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs.
5. Contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities.
6. Promoting high standards of food hygiene, safety, and practical work.
