Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a proactive Food Technologist to join a leading international food manufacturer in Surrey. You will manage day-to-day technical requirements for customer accounts, coordinate own-label launches, and ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC and retailer specifications.

Working in a hybrid environment, you will liaise with manufacturing sites, commercial teams and customers, support audits and NPD projects, and travel occasionally with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a food manufacturing technical or quality role.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and BRC standards.
• Experience working with retailer and/or foodservice specifications systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day technical requirements for customer accounts.
• Coordinate own-label product launches from approval through to market launch.
• Complete and maintain customer specifications, technical documentation and online retailer portals.
• Support customer audits, technical reviews and compliance activities.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints, driving corrective actions where required.
• Review artwork and product information to ensure legal and technical compliance.
• Work closely with manufacturing sites, commercial teams and customers to deliver excellent service.
• Support new product development projects across both branded and own-label portfolios.
• Conduct product quality assessments and sensory evaluations.
