Job summary

Academy Transformation Trust's Sutton Community Academy is looking for a Food Technician to join the Art, Design and Technology faculty. You will help prepare ingredients and equipment, support practical lessons and ensure a hygienic, engaging learning space for students.

The role focuses on developing cooking, nutrition and food safety skills across Key Stages 3 and 4, in a supportive team environment that values student progress and safeguarding.

• £13,172 (actual) per annum

• 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time only)

About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Food Technician to join our exceptional Art, Design and Technology faculty. You will play a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new and ambitious team with a shared vision to develop and enhance our food curriculum, inspiring students to develop a lifelong passion for cooking, nutrition and food hygiene. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create a safe, engaging and well-resourced learning environment by preparing ingredients and equipment, maintaining high standards of hygiene and supporting practical lessons that enable students to develop essential culinary skills and confidence.
