Nova Hreod Academy in Swindon is seeking a highly organised Food Technician to join our busy team on a fixed-term basis for six months, starting September 2026.
The role involves preparing equipment, setting up practical sessions, assisting with food science lessons, and tidying away in line with risk assessments and staff guidance. You will work closely with the Food Science Teacher and may order supplies. DBS disclosure is required. The post is term-time friendly and 29 hours per week.

Nova Hreod Academy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Food Science Technician to join our team. This is a fixed-term role from 1st September 2026 until 28th February 2026 the purpose of this being a fixed-term role is to cover a leave of absence. There may be a need to extend this role.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Academy, supporting food science.
